A few of these mineral drops per 4 litres will do the trick. The water comes out hot and needs to cool inside a safe material. WATER PURITY 9.9/10 Distilled water backed by the carbon filter in the nozzle creates one of the cleanest sources, ideal for urban dwellers. TIP: The water needs to be remineralised. The minerals will have of a positive health benefit. TIP TWO: an affordable way is to add a pitch of Good salt which we sell very affordably here VALUE 9.5/10 This is the best value water distiller we have found. NEVER buy any bottled water by the large international companies! Distilling guarantees clean water. On the downside, the machines are noisy and need power. In these uncertain times a machine like this is proving an invaluable tool. They also make a good emergency back-up in case things get worse, even if not used daily . Send this letter to care home managers LETTER TO CAREHOME MANAGER LETTER TO CARE HOME MANAGERS Dear Care Home Manager You may be aware that the press recently leaked reports that the Government are considering making it mandatory for care workers to receive a Covid 19 vaccine. I wish to make clear that a large proportion of the UK public and indeed likely your own staff do not support this, and have already written to their MPs to state as such. All vaccines are pharmaceutical products that come with risks as well as benefits. As such it is a legal requirement that full informed consent MUST be obtained from each person before they are injected with any vaccine, including the Covid vaccine. To better explain this, I enclose a consent form drawn up by The UK Medical Freedom Alliance (UKMFA), which explains the process of full disclosure and highlights the risks and benefits of a Covid 19 vaccine. Please can I ask you to read this carefully? The leaflet outlines the requirements that are in place to protect individuals from coercion and unlawful infringement of body autonomy. Given these rights, following a mandate by the Government to attempt to force care workers to have a Covid 19 vaccine, would constitute an egregious breach of various pre existing domestic and international law, which enshrines and upholds body autonomy, such as, (but not limited to) The Public Health (Control of Diseases) Act 1984, The Equality Act 2010, The Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights, the Supreme Court case of Montgonery V Lanarkshire Health Board 2015, and the Nuremberg Code. You may also wish to be aware that as an employer you could be personally liabile in tort for damages, if you enforce a mandatory vaccine program on your staff, and an employee is injured as a result. It would not be the Government that would be sued, it would be you, as you have duties to your employees. That you followed Government advice or diktat will not be a defence if an employee is injured or god forbid, dies, as a result of a policy you choose to adopt. I am sure you are aware that the Covid 19 vaccines have received emergency approval only. This means that they have not been passed as safe or effective, as long term data is not available. The trials for the vaccines do not end until 2023, which means they are in fact in their experimental stage. This stage would normally involve animal subjects, but because of the emergency use authorisation, the trial subjects are instead human beings. As an employer you have a duty to protect the wellbeing of your employees, and I therefore ask you to stand with the majority of the UK population and put your voice to the refusal to allow mandatory Covid 19 vaccinations for your staff. You staff carry out a valued job in caring for some of the most vulnerable in society. It would be heartbreaking if many carers left the profession due to a mandatory Covid 19 vaccine policy, but even more heartbreaking if they stayed, and were forced into having the jab only to become ill or be injured. Consent has published a template letter for parents wishing to decline Mass testing is not supported by evidence and not recommended by the World Health Organisation, the UK’s national screening committee, MHRA or SAGE CREDIT CONSENT Download REFUSAL template letter Or copy & paste & adapt this text below Dear Sir/Madam I am writing to inform you that I do not give my consent for (XXX) to have the SARS-CoV-2 Lateral Flow or PCR tests. I would like to share important reasons why I am not consenting. I do appreciate that this has been presented as an important way of reducing transmission of Covid in schools and I support these aims. I would like to reassure you that if (XXX) did become symptomatic, we would inform you immediately and not attend school. The rationale for mass testing in schools, however, is not backed by evidence. Asymptomatic spread in children isn’t clear to start with and the tests are highly unreliable. For example, the Liverpool pilot showed that the lateral flow tests missed half of Covid 19 cases otherwise picked up by PCR. I’m also concerned that the MHRA, UK National screening Committee, WHO or SAGE have not endorsed mass screening of asymptomatic persons. Professor Allyson Pollock, Clinical Professor of Public Health has called for mass testing to be scrapped. I am therefore considering the impact this intervention will have on my family and the potential risk, even if rare, to XXX’s health. There are risks with any test. PCR tests require a swab deep into the nasal cavity with a potential to harm the olfactory bulb that helps with sense of smell. Furthermore, several UK contracts of Covid tests have had to be recalled due to either contamination with Covid or because they were not sterile. Repeating these tests regularly, in the way schools are required, increases any potential risk, even though the jury is still out for lateral flow tests. Both tests are meant for testing people with symptoms. Once millions of asymptomatic children get tested at random, most positive cases become false positives, which means our whole family will have to isolate unnecessarily. For reasons of mental health and financial strain, our family will not be able to sustain another full isolation lockdown. Although young people over the age of 16 can apparently self-consent, it is not usual practice for Gillick competence to be applied to experimental procedures. According to Prof. Deeks, leader of the Cochrane Collaboration’s covid-19 test evaluation, the lateral flow tests are being used off label, that is, for a purpose they weren’t designed or approved for. Even if I, as a parent, or an older student by themselves, consented to the tests, it is hard to see how this could be valid in law, seeing that such consent has to be given freely, without pressure or undue influence, and after receiving all relevant information.
