MoMo is growing up in North Africa, where money is scarce, opportunities are limited, and every small decision matters. He lives with his family, learns from his grandmother, and watches closely as the people around him do whatever they can to survive.
So he starts to figure things out for himself.
With a handful of eggs, a sharp eye, and a refusal to accept the limits around him, MoMo begins to trade, bargain, and build something of his own. What starts as small, clever deals quickly becomes something more. A way of understanding how the world really works. How value is created. How power moves. And how, step by step, a person might rise against the odds.
But MoMo is not alone.
There is the duck he loves more than anything, a loyal and unlikely companion in a world that can change without warning. And there is a girl called Aisha, whose quiet strength and growing influence begin to shape his journey in ways he does not yet understand.
